Nature-Inspired Playground
At RIS Phuket, our Early Years campus transcends the traditional playground. It is a living, breathing classroom woven into the island's natural pulse. Perfectly positioned where the lush tropical canopy meets the Andaman shore.
Beach and Forest School
In this organic landscape, plastic and pavement give way to the raw textures of a tropical sanctuary. Here, the curriculum is shaped by the rhythm of the tides and the shade of the forest, encouraging young explorers to scale heights, build with the earth, and find their footing in the great outdoors.
With the sea as their backdrop and the forest as their guide, students embrace the freedom of sandy hands and curious minds. It is a space where the natural world isn't just a view, but a primary teacher, sparking a lifetime of discovery.

The Early Years Journey: From Discovery to Foundation
Our Early Years program is a tiered adventure designed to meet the developmental milestones of every child, moving from sensory play to structured inquiry.
Pre-K 2
The Discovery Years: Connection & Confidence
Often a child's first transition from home to school. We emphasise secure attachments and sensory-rich experiences. Learning happens through the 'Hundred Languages' of children: painting, movement, and tactile play in our nature-immersion spaces.
Pre-K 3
The World Expands
As children become more independent, they begin to collaborate, solve problems with peers, and engage in longer projects inspired by the forest and sea. It is the year of 'Why?', where curiosity is the primary driver of the curriculum.
Pre-K 4
The Foundation Stage
Pre-K 4 serves as the critical bridge between the organic exploration of early childhood and the structured academic standards of Kindergarten. This year builds the social, emotional, and academic readiness every child needs.
Kindergarten
The Launch: Ready for the World
While still rooted in play and nature, the Kindergarten curriculum aligns strictly with American Common Core and NGSS standards. Students graduate as confident readers, writers, and mathematical thinkers.
