The Redemptorists of Thailand opened a makeshift school behind Holy Redeemer Church on May 17, 1957, the birth of the RIS family.
Officially Ruamrudee International School
Chartered under the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs and renamed RIS, 'Ruamrudee' meaning 'union of hearts' in Thai.
